Server Technician
Zach has been building, repairing and upgrading computers since he was in junior high school. Professionally, Zach gained experience working as an IT/System administrator for an internet café, managing 28 machines with a server for LAN games, WAN, POS systems, QuickBooks POS, QuickBooks, Sonicwall, credit card terminals, deepfreeze, remote management and other commercial applications.
Zach gained expertise in identifying and resolving security issues when he worked as a computer security consultant for a computer security forensics company that tests the security, infrastructure and integrity of their client’s computer networks. He was responsible for determining which computers had been compromised and writing a master firewall to block any malicious traffic while keeping the legitimate traffic flowing. He also worked as a reverse engineer on a program for network monitoring which alerted the customer via text messaging or phone if anything was compromised.
Zach also has experience with secure coding and encryption methods, as well he has taught other programmers how to peer program allowing them to program much more efficiently on a project.
